About her
Retired from the Ministry of Justice and with a background in health services, I'd describe myself as confident, intelligent, warm and feminine. I generally look on the bright side of life and try to see the best in people. I enjoy all sorts of things; walking, the countryside, the sea, cities, the arts and reading. I really like travelling, exploring different cultures, and foods. In Cuba I stayed with 7 different families; such lovely people and so clever. They can mend or re-use anything! I enjoy catching up with friends over coffee and am also happy at home relaxing, gardening, cooking or watching TV. I guess life is about balance really.
While I do take an interest in the world, I’m not a party political person. And although I’m not a saint, I try to be tolerant of different views. Maybe being a second-generation Greek Cypriot helps a bit.
I have a son who studied zoology and now lives in Inverness, and a daughter who lives in Herefordshire with her partner and my two beautiful grandchildren, I love them all of course!

I’d like to meet someone who shares some of my interests and who I could gradually develop a meaningful relationship with. I also appreciate we all need time to follow our own interests. Ideally, they would be kind and intelligent, and have a positive outlook on life – well, at least for some of the time!
