About him
I live on my own, with no pets, except for a Fender Jazz Bass which always gets the better of me. I moved up here in 2010 with my extensive collection of CD’s, my books and a good attitude. People in Derbyshire are great and I came to Ashbourne out of choice. My eldest son is 37 and lives and works in New York. His brother lives in Jersey, and I have a good relationship with both.
My profile is a pretty accurate window on me and where I am today. Others will tell you I am good fun with GSOH, flexible, loving, low maintenance, open minded, outgoing, practical, romantic, self-confident, gentle, sensitive to others, and generally well balanced. I have a strong sense of fair play and will endeavour to do the right thing where situations allow, and most definitely willing to go the extra mile, and more, for the right person. By all accounts I cook pretty well, and in a relationship have a good sense of what makes the things work. I am unselfish, and will always take the time and make the extra effort to do something just that little bit special.
I am now very aware that no matter how outgoing, positive, and independent you are- that life without a partner to enjoy and respect is rather empty.

I would like to meet someone with similar values, similar view of life as a couple, and personalities that are such that, with mutual respect and some compromise we can enjoy each others company.
