About him
A stockbroker recently urged me to buy a stock that would triple its value every year. I told him at my age, I don't even buy green bananas :)
Having said that at my age, my Grandma started walking 5 miles a day. She's over 100 now. We have no idea where she is.:)
Joking aside if age really is just a number to you here is my synopsis.
Would like the foundation of a friendship/companionship first and foremost that could potentially build into something more. Kindness, honesty, loyalty and laughter are key.
I am 6 foot one inch tall (mustn't forget the one inch). I live alone near Malvern. I must admit I prefer the old fashioned way. Ex Merchant Navy Officer (Navigator)..long time ago. I think I am kind and reasonably intelligent....some may disagree with the intelligent bit :) I don't see distance as a big issue in the greater scheme of things although I appreciate for some this may be a constraint. I enjoy the simple things in life, walks in the countryside and by the sea, it's in my blood. Weekends away. Love animals especially dogs and considering getting a black labrador if I can't find the woman of my dreams. :) and taking up yoga when the class starts again after covid eases. Like comedys and restaurants, art galleries and theatre. Believe in gentlemans principles and kindness. I think we are a dying breed from what I have heard. I am unpretentious, a good listener, compassionate, spiritual and emotionally intelligent. I ran a counselling practice for 15 years. I owned a company in the care sector until a recent buy-out.......I care. However I know I am not perfect.....well almost. :) I am not keen on lots of to and fro endless messaging, I would rather talk on the phone and arrange to meet.

Attractive, kind, caring, honest, tolerant, authentic and has a sense of humour. She has integrity and is a good communicator who enjoys learning. She is aware she isn't perfect and therefore has a 'confident humility'...in other words she also has faults (as we all do) and knows them. She is generally non-judgemental or able to suspend judgement because she wants to know all the facts first. My personal view is that too many people, no matter how academic or from whatever socio-economic group, in our society, make quick judgements based on their personal emotions and/or chosen newspaper.:)
