About her
As someone who’s made a career of being retired (much to my working friends disgust!) I’m looking first and foremost for a great companion who is happy to go with the flow.
Up to now I have chosen to lead an independent life but, since lockdown, I’ve realised I’d like someone special to share the next stage of my journey with. Divorced over ten years ago, I have two grown up sons, and with no grandchildren on the horizon - I’m fancy free on that score.
I live in a beautiful part of the country and with my active lifestyle I enjoy taking in all that’s on my doorstep through regular sea swimming, walking and just sitting on the beach with a good book. I relish the opportunity to walk the coast and rural footpaths.
I recently travelled and took part in some volunteering opportunities in India and Sri Lanka. I enjoyed the experience of travelling and being immersed in other cultures. I have visited many places in Europe and Great Britain and I’m always up for exploring new places. I’m a Leo (without the fiery temper) so I love the sun and bright colours.
I’m looking for someone with an optimist outlook and a sense of fun who recognises the importance of having own interests/pursuits, although I might draw the line at trainspotting.

Primarily, I’d like to meet some who’s kind to me. My ideal match would be a gentleman who has a sense of humour and who listens.
I feel that the world is a bit topsy turvy, right now, so I want to make some good memories by travelling and having new experiences. I enjoy walking, reading, sea swimming and keeping in touch with friends is important to me - I wouldn’t necessarily expect a partner to partake in all these activities but I would hope that there would be some mutual enjoyment of them.
