I'll start at the end, because that's where I am now.
An eternal optimist. No matter how bad things get, it will get better. No matter how off-course we've drifted, we'll eventually find our way. No matter how many things have been lost or broken (whether real or intangible), I believe it can be mended, fixed, patched or replaced with something better. Something unexpected.
I like simple things. Reading, walking, cooking, music, movies, wandering.
I don't like normal. Normal often represents everything bad in our society. I loathe selfishness and arrogance. Takers and fakers also need not apply. I have little interest in stuff or things. Over many years I have accumulated a lot of stuff. It took some time for me to realize that none of it made me happy. In fact, it made me unhappy. I felt weighed down by a lot of pointless rubbish. Life should be about experiences, dreams, adventure, passion, love, freedom, family and friends.
I believe in the impossible. Our very existence is as close to impossible as you can get. I believe in magic. The fact we are here and alive is truly magical. I believe in love. I believe it's out there for everyone. We just have to look. Sometimes the best things turn up in the most unexpected places.
I come with a warning! I have two daughters aged 12 and 10. They don't live with me but I see them regularly. This, I know, will put a lot of people off. Also, I don't live in a house. Argh! What?! Sorry, I value freedom too much to be manacled to a heap of bricks and mortar. I hope your open minded...

I would to meet someone who is relaxed, free and maybe a little wild. I don't care about baggage. We're all dragging some of that around. As long as you are light and carefree on the inside.
