I am a warm, genuine person, very honest and with a good sense of humour. I enjoy walking, reading and gardening....I also like visiting gardens. I like to travel and I've been as far afield as New Zealand, Australia and America, but I do love France and Italy very much. I have a close family and a small circle of good friends. I enjoy creative stuff (with varying degrees of success!)....writing, sewing, cooking and even (some) DIY.
I love eating out whether its pub grub or fine dining, but I also really enjoy staying in by the fire with a TV supper and a glass of red wine to hand. I guess I'm an optimistic person, realistic but tend to be hopeful and look on the bright side. What I miss (I'm a widow) is someone to share things with, discuss things and someone to come home to.

I'm looking for someone who is kind and gentle, with a good sense of humour. Someone who is confident and happy in themselves. I'd like to meet someone to share things with....a dinner, a walk, a holiday and just the little things in life. I think a relationship works on shared values and good communication, so someone who enjoys a good discussion about anything under the sun would be good. Loyalty and trust are very important too......works both ways of course.
