I'm a youthful 41 year old 'rough diamond'... at least that's how someone described me recently. I kind of liked the description... so I'm going with it!
Ok, so I'm an educated guy, an honest guy; an emotional guy, and I am - I suppose what you'd call - a 'man's man'...and I make absolutely no apologies about it! Having said that, I like to think I have a good balance of ruggedness and tenderness. So, I'd happily read you a poem while you're in the bath, but I can just as well fell a tree...
I'm a musician (amateur) and am deeply passionate about music in general. I love literature and poetry, I enjoy cooking, and generally being creative. Oh, I also love sport, I really enjoy walking and hiking. The longer the walk: the better.
I guess, I would describe myself - overall - as existentially inquisitive, desirous of experiencing things that feed my soul, confident but humble, playful, and pretty fun, but nobody's fool, either!

I am looking for a lady with emotional intelligence, I suppose, above all else. I value that.
I am completely open minded about everything else. If I meet someone with similar interests to me, then that's awesome. But I'd be just as excited to meet someone who has really different interest and ideas.
