Inexplicably, I like the Bee Gees but also Miles Davis, Jimmy Scott, Michael Kiwanuka, Neil Young and Bach. Opera eludes me. While I get the big plots and characters, I prefer literary drama to musical melodrama. But happy to be educated by you if you please.
Serious about literature esp. contemporary fiction - tell me what's on your bedside table and I'll tell you if we're a match or not.
I'm spontaneous and always up for an adventure (yes I would book a motorcycle trip to Patagonia or Costa Rica on 24 hours notice).
I miss the Canadian landscape (Ontario and BC) where I spent most of my life before moving to London 10 years ago and dream of owning a Dutch barge to take me out of the city.

Although I don't have a rigid list, essentially, I'm looking for a smart, engaged man who doesn’t mind that I have a career (although I could be happy to change direction to build a more interesting life with a new partner).
