Hello, I'm Zoey and I thought I'd give online dating a go! I would describe myself as kind and compassionate. However, I don't suffer fools and my friends say I am quite feisty. My Scottish grandmother used to chase people around with a sword, but I'm not quite that bad. I don't own a sword, for a start.
I am affectionate and like to do simple things like snuggle on a sofa and watch a film, go for walks, talk about life in a cosy pub, things like that. My sense of humour is a bit goofy and I like to be silly. Life's too short to be serious all the time, and smiling is meant to be good for you, or something. I don't like pretentiousness, and I think personality is more important than appearance. One will outlast the other, after all.
I have a degree in Critical Theory and Creative Writing; simply because I like overthinking, and writing, and being in debt; and I just thought I'd put all three together, really. This degree will remain completely useless of course until I finally get around to finishing my novel when I am 105 years old, at which point I can loudly remind everyone repeatedly from my zimmer frame that it was worth it.
Here is a very long paragraph where I attempt to describe myself: the ability to laugh at this strange world is a trait I find attractive, I'm very loyal, the very first thing I do when I wake up is read the news (and then spend the rest of the day thinking about it, and I can't go to sleep without checking the headlines one last time), museums always put my problems into perspective, I believe everyone should help out their local community, I love being affectionate, and yes I'm aware I've probably written too much, but that's something about me too.
