About her
I am therapist in private practise working part time. I would like to meet an intelligent man who is kind caring. I miss talking to someone special and want to make me laugh again. Its time to look forward and not back. We can't change the past but we can change the future with someone special.
I lost my husband over 6+ years ago after suffering a long time with Parkinson's and Dementia which was very challenging. Its time to enjoy life again where ever it leads me. I may have been on my own for a while because I am not desperate it has to be right or not at all.
I have two grown up children we are very close which makes life worth living . I love animals and nature. I like gardening it has been very therapeutic. I like walking to enjoy it not a route march. I am on the Committee of the BL and often lay the wreath for The Burma Star in memory of my Dad and all those that served. I also am volunteer for Healthwatch which is positive.
I am a membour of a local Choir. We set it up after loosing funding from TENOFUS. It encourages wellbeing through singing and friendship. It is very supportive, many members have had cancer or a loved ones suffering with it cancer or are having treatment. We have Gigs to sing in the community.
My work is important to me helping clients move forward in their lives and feeling more positive about the future.
I have cats and a tortoise which I have had for 50 years he could be a 100 but no idea. Wle found him walking in the middle of the road, we saved him from being run over.
I am not looking for one night stands ir exoect sex after two dates. I am looking for a very special person to build a good relationship then the rest will follow naturally with the right man.
About her ideal match
A kind gentle man retired or semi retired. I like an intelligent man who can have good communication able to talk about anything and everything. Someone who can make me laugh again and hopefully I can make him.
I am not sure what sort of relationship but someone to share the good and bad days, someone who is willing to learn to love again and be loved. My husband was my first and only love and got married when I was very young. I am now ready to move on now to the next part of my life.
Life is so different now and I guess all our needs have changed especially since COVID and it time to explore the future. I would like someone who likes animals and nature, gardening, music and likes going out to the cinema, theatre, eating out, listening to music or watching a film etc., etc. I guess that is a big order but at least some of them would be good. I grew up with two brothers and miss the company of men I have friends I have know since I was eight but talking to women is not the same as talking and laughing with men .
