My perfect dream gentleman would have some religious beliefs as that would be a common ground but not 100 percent necessary as that is ones relationship with God.
He would have common interests and again like minded as we get older it's about enjoying the same outlooks not going in opposite directions.
He would be of similar standing as we mature I do feel both social and backgrounds become apparent. One likes lobster the other pie and chips or one a cruise and the other a tent starts to become an issue. Middle ground has to be found.
