About her
I feel I am a person who makes the most of what life has to offer, even in these very difficult times. I do miss not having that someone special in my life to care for and I would love to be special to somebody who is kind, caring and thoughtful, who has a GSOH.
One of my favourite things in life is travel, which has been sadly missing of late. I have been lucky to have visited many countries but there are still quite a few that need crossing off my bucket list. My favourite holiday island is Bermuda but New Zealand is the place I would go back to time and again. I enjoy rail and cruise holidays as well as short breaks seeing as much of the UK as possible. I also enjoy dancing, theatre, cinema, yoga, quizzes, antiques, reading, cooking (but not much fun for one) and I am a member of the U3A. All this is fun but would be much more enjoyable with a partner. I am not into participation sport but I love watching it on TV. I have mild COPD which restricts me doing a lot of very physical activities, but I would enjoy slow strolls by the coast, or in beautiful countryside with a lovely man to accompany me.

I am hoping to find a gentleman who likes some of the same things as me but also could get me interested in learning and enjoying some new hobbies. As I have been living on my own for quite a few years now, I feel that someone who is used to his own space and doesn't need 24 hour companionship would be a good match, although who knows what might happen in the future.
