Hello, I'm Mike.
Thank you for looking at my profile. I'm a professional man, and well travelled due to my work. A non-smoker and living in an idyllic village home in the North Yorkshire Moors, in northern England. During life I have known a few ladies that I would have liked to have settled with but it never quite worked out, so I have had a good single life instead, but would definitely prefer now to be settled in a more comfortable life, with that special someone. I am 69 years, now, although (and this corny) I don’t look it.
As to my qualities I am: Amiable, Caring, Affectionate, and Honest. I love the outdoors and countryside for, Walking, Country Pubs, BBQ's, Picnics, and Garden, Not to mention Indoor Fires, afterwards. All fairly usual stuff. But also:- I keep fit by, Gliding, Skiing, Sailing, Badminton, Cycling, Swimming, although not necessarily in that order. Good eating and cooking are part of my life as well. I'm very keen on Photography. In my home I keep my Piano, which I still don't play enough but keep trying. Life is good right now, but if I could just meet that special lady, life would just about be perfect! Being a tactile person I enjoy giving Massages (I've been trained) and what's more I'd love to receive one back from the right woman. Warmth and Passion are high on my list when I'm with the right person. Music is important to me, my choice normally being Classical but many other's listened to, as well. So Concerts and Theatre are nice to visit when possible.
I used to travel a lot being in the exploration side of the oil industry. This actually affords me more time at home to relax and enjoy life, and to do the things that I really want to do. But that’s stopped due to the slump in oil prices and the oil industry. So now I work as a driver in the film and television industry.
What I've failed to mention so far is that I enjoy a good laugh.

Ideally hoping to meet a woman who is feminine and slim. But more importantly Intelligent and understanding about life (as qualifications don't necessarily mean intelligent). Witty and Independent would be lovely qualities, but something that I do look for and find very attractive is a nice speaking voice. Age range is not too important, so anything from 30 to 50 is my general guide. A lady who dresses elegantly, though not necessarily a fashion follower, would be lovely.
