About her
I’m a strong feisty but lovely lady who is too young to spend the rest of her life spending days/ evenings alone.
I am very independent and have a busy life style but have lots of space to enjoy the right persons company and mutual care, comfort and support. I love eating and drinking good food and wine despite always trying to watch my weight. I love fun and trying out new things whilst 2020 has made me appreciate home comforts.
I dislike anyone who supports hunting with dogs or has extreme views. I remain a Remainer.
I love good comedy, theatre, ballet, music (still love a good gig), although living away from London my access to these events is increasingly less and I’m getting ok with that. Still feel there’s a bit of London in me but much less than in the past and happy to enjoy what my local cities have to offer. Also really happy to get into new interests if you have some - not doing cricket teas though!
I am learning to play golf and would love someone who is patient enough to play a (golf) round or few with me.
My views are quite liberal and I’m an intelligent lady with stong views. I like things to be evidenced based, not something that’s been printed in a newspaper or on social media.
My family ( one adult child) is very important to me but I’m also happy to embrace your family if they are happy to embrace me.
My idea of relaxing is being with friends or family, I enjoy entertaining but on a relaxed not grand level.
I love travelling, but have grown to hate airline travelling. Hopefully post COVID I’ll get back into it as there are still so many places to see and so little time. I also love my home and the community I live in.
I want to enjoy my life to the full and stay active in mind and body, whilst enjoying calm and comfort. I just need the right person to share and enjoy my life with and create many new experiences and memories together.
About her ideal match
This is a difficult one because until I meet my ideal match I don’t think it’s something I can necessarily describe.
I think you will be warm, fun, open ( to me and my way of life, my family, my interests, new experiences), tolerant, calm and not controlling. Someone who does not expect to be waited on and who can be an equal in a relationship. Not a pipe and slippers man. I believe it’s healthy that we enjoy doing things together but also have our own outlets. For example I go to dance classes and occasional weekends, meet up with old girlfriends sometimes we go away for weekends, spend days and go on occasional holidays with my daughter. Sounds like a perfect man eh!
Your smile and your warmth and how fascinating / interesting you are will be what wins me over rather than a list of requirements, but if you think you will be in charge in a relationship you are not the one for me. I’m keen to share love, laugh and cry together.
