I suppose my friends would call me bouncy, not without a sense of humour , but introspective at times
I really like cooking ( never follow a recipe to the letter .... how boring that would be!!!), white and rosé wine being my tipple of choice .
An avid reader , I also like the theatre and cinema . I have done some travelling . but would love to meet someone who would share this , when we are finally allowed to !
I knit , listen to a great deal of music and have eclectic tastes . I have to put Beethoven and Bach at the top of the list .
What is my outlook on life? Well, I tend to be quite
practical but like to think that I have a reasonably optimistic attitude most times .
I am looking to meet someone, initially for companionship , someone who would share some of my interests ( not all.,, that wouldn’t be challenging!)
to go to the theatre , cinema, eat out , cook with and for me , but please , not an enthusiastic sportsman , as my idea of exercise is a walk , not a marathon.
I like people who make me laugh unexpectedly at some quick off the cuff remark.
I am emphatically not vegetarian , and do like a glass of wine ( or two ). My musical tastes range from 50s through folk ( Fairport Convention, Maddy Prior etc) , jazz (Charlie Bird, John Coltrane , the wonderful Louis Prima and Keely Smith) to being passionate about classical music eg Bach and Beethoven topping the list . I once heard the Missa Solemnis in. a record shop that made my “hair stand on end” ..... never realised this could actually happen . It was a recording made during the blitz when people actually attended a concert in St Paul’s cathedral with bombs falling around them . Anyway.... you get the picture!!!

Where to start? Well, as one judges by initial appearance, he should be reasonably personable and not fat.
The ability to amuse me in an off-the-cuff way. Sharp .
Empathetic .Not too serious and certainly not someone who spends time extolling his virtues!
Obviously I would hope that he would share some of the interests I mention above . I hope he would like cooking , and eating out , post COVID.
