About her
I'm very sociable with a good sense of humour, intelligent and witty. A loyal friend always willing to help. Warm and affectionate, (I'm a hugger and a cuddler). I enjoy being with people but also like my own space. Love food and dining out but not much of a cook. Fond of animals in general, dogs in particular, not fond of cats.
I get on well with children and young people and am happy in their company, they seem to like me. I sometimes feel I like them better and have more in common with them than my own generation!
I count among my achievements two very close friendships, both of over 40 years long, both sadly now gone.
I don't have hobbies as such but I really like quizzes and puzzles, they keep my brain active and improve my knowledge. One of my favourite pastimes is playing Rummikub with friends, scrabble is good too. I am a member of U3A and belong to three branches and several activity groups.

I am hoping to meet friends of either gender who would be honest, kind, considerate and warm and be fun to be with.
They would be intelligent with a good sense of humour and share some of my interests which are mainly cultural. Theatre, Cinema, reading, art, dining out, travel and, of course, music.
Being out of doors is such a great pleasure but two of my greatest pleasures, walking and sailing, are now restricted by health issues, (arthritis). So to meet someone with patience and understanding who could help reintroduce me to these activities, which are now limited, would be a massive bonus.
Anyone out there with a yacht? Ask me about the trip to Spain and the Bay of Biscay.
