About her
Like me, they might be looking for companionship. I can be fun, I’m travelled and not a bad cook. I like music, reading and discovering more of the UK. Despite this it’s always good to come home. Lockdown activities have also included jigsaw puzzles and sudoku!
I have lived in the Middle East - which I did not enjoy - and in Canada - which I loved. I am reasonably broad minded and relaxed and do not like the blame game - life’s too short. Most of the time I manage to think of the glass as half-full, despite the restrictions of the past year.
I would like to find someone on the same wavelength, who can make me laugh, who holds doors open for me and who makes me feel special. I would like someone who has enough overlapping interests for us to share things but who also has other interests of his own - which I might learn to share. I want to find someone who is gentle as well as strong and who is masculine enough not to be afraid of their gentler side. I want someone who accepts me as I am and who does not make assumptions about me.
I do not want someone who drinks heavily nor anyone who sits glued to football on the TV. Nor do I want someone who is looking for a housekeeper or nurse. I want someone who can be a friend first and perhaps more later.

Around my age, ideally a Christian, interested in classical music, intelligent, good sense of humour. Not a smoker and no dogs - I am allergic to them. My ideal partner would enjoy intelligent discussion. I don’t expect people to agree with me all the time, but I do expect people to have given thought to what they believe and not to resent different views. It would be good to discover other interests with someone who is passionate about them.
I enjoy singing and play the piano, neither brilliantly. I love to play with other people so an instrumentalist would be perfect.
A deal breaker would be someone who is not honest - or a football fanatic/dog owner.
