About him
After some years of widowerhood (is that a word?) and the imminent end of lockdown, it's time to emerge - pupate, if you like.
As a semi retired engineer who has spent most of my working life Middle East, Far East, Africa and the USA, I need to explore Europe - with someone like minded, of course. Apart from France and Ireland, there are so many countries yet to visit. As a gardening novice, summer tasks are beyond me, so any advice welcome. I also restore old cars when not too cold. I cook and eat anything, especially oriental stuff, and to blow off the surplus calories, go running and walking when the Snowdonia weather allows. Have I done my 20 word minimum yet? I think so....though could go on... PS - am classically trained having achieved Grade 1 piano at the age of 9, but then stopped as playing football, cowboys and Indians appealed more than practising scales. My big regret never having carried on with the piano! Miss sailing as the water's too cold around here...
