I think life is to be enjoyed, not always possible as I know, but I am a glass half full not a glass half empty person. My friends say I am warm, easy to get on with, empathetic, able to laugh at myself and with a good sense of humour. I love the countryside and being outdoors - but also love city breaks in the UK and abroad - holidays, cooking, eating out, walking especially with my dogs, travelling , horses, racing, rugby, athletics, listening to music, theatre and relaxed entertaining at home. Not very good at sitting and doing nothing but could get better with the right person!

Anybody I meet must be first and foremost honest but also warm, relaxed, enjoy a good conversation, be able to laugh at themselves and have a sense of fun about life.
