About her
I have just turned 66 but, like a lot of people my age, I am not sure how that happened. I honestly don’t feel like I am in the Autumn years. I rather hope this is still Summer. I am active and independent with lots of friends all over the country. I am generally a very upbeat person. I really like to be doing things. I am not a great one for sitting indoors watching tv but I guess that might change over time. I like to eat out and socialise but during lockdown I have discovered that I quite like cooking.
I play golf and, whilst I am not yet very good at it, I am hooked. So, ideally I would like to meet someone who also plays or would like to play. I have a dream to travel and combine that with playing on some of the most beautiful courses in the world (without breaking the bank). I like horse racing, rugby and train travel. I have stewarded on steam trains and would like to go further afield on railway holidays.

I had a wonderful career for 40 years which has enabled me to retire younger than most can even dream of. I chose to retire early enough to enjoy this exciting period of my life and am looking for someone to share some of that experience with.
I don’t think I am looking for 24/7 but I want to meet someone with a fair amount of unencumbered time. Apart from sharing my interests, I won’t write a long wish list but I ask that you are not disingenuous and that you have a sense of humour and are financially secure. And it would be nice if you were physically quite active. And I would like a man I can talk to rather than the strong silent type.
I am happy to try new things with someone who is engaged with life.
I presently live in central London and I still think its one of the greatest cities in the world but I believe it might be time for me to move on. I love the bustle but I also love nature and the seaside. Who knows where I will go next.
