About him
I couldn't imagine life without music as for me its so much more than just being in the background rather music reflects the way I am, what I’ve done and where I’ve been.
Musically eclectic tastes which have seen me enjoying Glastonbury to catching a local band. Hearing a song will often transport me back to a time or place, leaving me in a happy place – the smile usually gives it away...
So for a longer time than I care for, music for me has been like a solo act and now I want to find a duet (ok a bit cheesy but hey singing together is so much more fun!).
My love of walking I guess was ignited through family walks with our pet dogs through beautiful Somerset countryside. Since those early walks, I’ve walked most of the UK, completed Three Peaks challenge and lucky to have both the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons close enough to escape to and enjoy. For me, the enjoyment of walking is a combination of breathtaking views , seeing nature at its best and of course a welcoming pub for enjoying that well deserved drink and reflecting upon an amazing walk.
So what makes me me? Outgoing, confident and loyal whilst a gentleman at heart. Smiling, sharing a smile is nice right? I’m not and never will be perfect and accept that I have flaws. Friends agree that I’m someone who can be relied upon whilst able to share a coffee and a chat when needed. Having a positive attitude definitely helps in dealing with life and its curve balls. Yep I’ll have a whinge or a moan and clear my thoughts to look for a solution. Everyone has a story so the saying goes and for me to understand your story better I want to listen to you and feel connected to you.
Equally happy to be out enjoying a gig, a film or dinner to relaxing at home cooking, listening to music or catching a movie… oh don’t forget a glass of red either!
In case your wondering, I have more radios then TVs and bizarrely in my vinyl collection, I have a Russian Leo Sayer album – yet that is a story to be shared over a glass of red...
