About her
I could sell ice to Eskimos, but hopeless at ‘selling myself’. But I’ll try, friends kindly say I am kind hearted, generous and thoughtful. I don’t do arguments, life is too short, Most things in life are better shared, and I just love people whether it’s meals in or out, walking in the countryside or on the beach, I enjoy both especially with Barley my gorgeous Golden Retriever who I acquired during the last lockdown. I am her 4th owner and this is her forever home, so liking dogs is a must please 😊. Whilst Barley is good company it’s nothing like that of a lovely gentleman walking beside me. I really enjoying cooking and pre the Covid pandemic I regularly cooked for 40 in the community, sadly this may not happen again.
My career has been in the medical field and I still work a few times a month, more as a hobby but I thoroughly enjoy the work and meeting my patients.
After living and working for 15 years in Guernsey and Alderney, I returned to the U.K. 10 years ago and still prefer the peace and quiet of the coast and countryside. The rush of cities, except for the occasional visit, has little appeal. However I can do sophisticated as well as wellies and a Barbour.
I have a very optimistic view on life which is racing by all too fast, but there’s still time for another chapter, lots more exciting things to see and do with a new best friend and maybe more……….
