I like to think I'm quite good fun, kind and open-minded. I don't take life too seriously, although I work hard for the things I'm passionate about. I love meeting new people, although I prefer having a few close friends to being part of big groups. Music is my main hobby - I play the drums and piano, mostly funk/jazzfunk, although I love all number of genres, from blues to Motown to folk. My favourite composer is Bach (Baroque music rules!). I love maths - I know that's wierd but I do! I also love spending time with my friends, and my family is everything to me. I have a generally optimistic attitude to life, despite being prone to overthinking things... I have many international friends and want to explore more of the world. I live in a city and work in research, even though I don't really enjoy either of those things. The eventual dream would be to live in the countryside and write musicals for a living! Although I'd settle for writing software, as I love to do that.

Someone kind, who is silly, but worldly and wise, and who enjoys deep chats about life. Looking for a best friend - someone who I can go on adventures with, big or small, and share life with. I'm quite spontaneous - I don't really plan ahead, so if that would frustrate you it's probably not the best match... I'm pretty sensible though, as far as spontaneous people go (I'm perhaps a closeted spontaneous person, if that's a thing). Then again, having someone more organised than me in my life would probably be a good thing. I love to dance (I used to do ballroom, and other types of dance, even though I'm not that good), so if you do too, even better! If you're a musician we could also jam together, which would be fun! Loving cats is a requirement.
