About him
I'm a bit unusual, with many interests, wide knowledge, love of travel. I have a PhD and several degrees, but hate snobbery of any kind and sarcasm. I love classical musical, and you can guess what I play from my "handle" (excuse the pun)... I like the simple things such as a country walk as much as travelling to (warm) far-flung places. Would love to share my love for classical music, theatre etc, with someone with similar interests, and/or my love of languages. I'm of mixed heritage and am relearning several languages lost through a busy life with work and family. I love animals, but don't have any pets at the moment. Friends say I'm a good cook and look younger than my age.
I've a good SOH, but am also very deep-thinking. Friends say I have a lot of love to give, but so far...... The thing I miss most, despite a life full of interests and subtle pursuits, is the closeness and open honesty in a good relationship. I would love to share again the preciousness of being at one with somebody special in my life, and finding joy in even the simplest of things in life, like a tipple in front of a fire, or cuddled up on the sofa. What about you...? I don't foresee living with anyone, as I'd like us to have that good balance of independence and intimacy, but you never know. Someone a bit unusual, who loves cats, animals in general, Spain, exotic places, languages, exciting food, quiet pursuits etc, not necessarily all of them, but at least some.
