About her
Having ridden the tide of my earlier life all over the UK and Europe, I find myself peacefully settled in the heart of Devon, where I live close to nature.
I am comfortable in my own skin, and socially confident. I believe myself to be kind and empathetic. I am a romantic but also a realist. I am warm, intelligent, even-tempered and broad-minded. I can be passionate and spontaneous if so moved. I am adventurous and enjoy exploring new places, ideas and experiences, whether travelling, reading, trying new cuisine or listening to another’s tales. I consider myself fortunate in being well-educated, formally and by a rich and varied life, but there is always room for more learning.
I love to share cultural experiences, from concerts to podcasts, books, films, music, theatre. My bread and butter is teaching languages, and I am drawn to broadening my understanding of these cultures. My creativity is expressed in writing and performing with my band, and I have a contemplative side which is nourished by reading, being in Nature, gardening, and practising Reiki.
