About her
I am a contented, down to earth person with a positive attitude. Retired now after a long career I have time to pursue my own creative activities which I thoroughly enjoy. I keep active by walking, cycling, gardening and sometimes swimming. I have a varied taste in music and also enjoy singing. I get great pleasure from reading, visiting the theatre, galleries and places of historical and cultural interest. I used to sail and would welcome the opportunity to do so again, always as the crew though, never the skipper. I am fortunate to have both good friends and a loving supportive family yet it would be so much nicer to share the years to come with a like minded partner/soulmate. I value honesty, integrity, optimism and a deep appreciation and curiosity of this wonderful, if rather turbulent world. I live in Suffolk but have family and friends in the North East, Cheshire and London along with deep connections to Scotland. I would, therefore, be open to meeting someone either locally or further afield.

I have no “ideal” match in terms for physical appearance but I would be looking for someone who is relatively fit and healthy, a non-smoker who leads at the very least a moderately active life style. I am looking for someone to get out and about and have fun with. A cheeky grin and sparkling eyes will immediately secure my attention; suggesting an inquisitive mind and zest for life. Anyone looking for someone new at this stage in life will no doubt have their own story. I would however, expect the person I meet to be in a place to move on, respectful of the past but optimistic for the future. Above all to value honesty and integrity and a genuine interest in the world around them. Someone with the desire to make the little corner of the world they inhabit a wee bit nicer for them having been there.
