As I’ve very kindly been given 3 free days as a birthday gift from Classic FM, I thought I’d give online dating one more try! Previously when I’d tried, I’d been bedevilled by scammers or by those either young enough to be my son or old enough to be my father…the classic “nurse or purse” scenario.
Generally, I’m very happy and positive – definitely a ‘glass half full’ person. I’m ok on my own but there is just so much missing that only comes from companionship with the right person.
I am lucky enough to be healthy and active. I like to learn something new every day and believe in trying things at least once before saying it’s not for me…I do believe in challenging myself! I volunteer in a local city art gallery and also in the American museum. But my greatest love (aside from family) is travelling – I visit Australia every year and I’ve just returned from 3 weeks in Argentina, Brazil and Chile but there are so many places I still would love to see. So, someone to travel with would be wonderful…someone special to share those ‘wow’ moments…a perfect rainbow…stunning scenery etc. But also someone to share life’s simple pleasures like walking, anywhere, but holding hands. Meals out or nights in watching movies and sharing a bottle of wine…most importantly, someone to laugh with.
