About her
My friends know me as a kind, warm, generous, empathetic person interesting to many having lived in a number of different and contrasting countries and cultures. I speak a number of languages; German, French, Persian, a little Moroccan Arabic. These experiences and exposures have led me to be open-minded with an understanding that we live in a global community for which we are all responsible.
I was an English language teacher in Iran, Germany, Brazil and Morocco. Of course, these places are still close to my heart. At the moment I divide my time between the UK, Germany and Morocco.
I have a desire to see more of the world and expand on these experiences. I particularly enjoy the natural world in its different forms when travelling; meandering and walking through hills and valleys, along rivers and through the woods, whilst dipping into the unique features of local towns.
I enjoy spending time discussing with friends and family on a variety of subjects concerning the environment, world politics, spirituality, human nature, and kindness. I enjoy discovering new places, ideas, and cultures. I love walking fairly long distances, reading a wide range of books and newspaper articles, sewing and knitting for myself and others, cooking and baking.
The latest compliment paid me was from a local German - English group, saying they hoped I'd not be away too long next time as they'd miss me terribly.

I seek companionship and sharing of mutually enjoyable activities (these could be new to me), someone environmentally aware, someone open-minded who enjoys debate, someone honest, someone with integrity.
I should welcome a new person at my side because I miss the warmth and depth of a loving caring relationship. I have good close male friends with whom I share much, but they are not intimate partners. I should like to wake up to a friendly face, share cuddles and giggles, follow daily pursuits together but also travel and explore.
