About her
I'm content in my own company, but would like to have someone to share happy times with. I would describe myself as loyal, faithful, affectionate, and honest.
I have lived in France since 1999, for most of that time running a gite business. My husband died in 2015 and after spending three further years running the business on my own, found it was more of a millstone than the pleasure it had once been, and I sold up. Since moving to my new house, I have spent the time painting and decorating, learning new skills and have a renewed enthusiasm for gardening.
I enjoy cooking, but don't make much effort when it is just for myself. So much more satisfying to share with someone.
I have a two cats and a golden retriever, who is my motivation for country walks.
I like entertaining friends, enjoy quiz nights and try to organise at least two a year for charity. I usually have music on in the house or the car. Particularly love classical but my no means knowledgable!
The occasional city break would be fine, but I love being in peaceful, rural S W France.
In my head, I am sure I am still in my thirties. I have yet to acknowledge that middle age has hit me, despite being not too far off drawing my pension. When did that happen?!
I am very content with my life, but miss having one special person to enjoy it with.
