About him
I'm a reasonably fit and healthy man in my sixties with a young outlook on life and with a lively and enquiring mind. My background is in broadcasting and I have a keen and developed interest in the media and the performing arts. I currently live in a stone cottage in the hills above the beautiful Towy Valley with amazing views across the Welsh countryside. However, I am now actively looking to relocate a little closer to my children in Cardiff, Gloucestershire and London. I am pretty practical and self-sufficient and OK with my own company but miss a real companion in life who shares my interests and wants to make the most of whatever years we are lucky enough to have left.
My interests are wide and varied - I enjoy gardening and growing my own food, theatre and the performing arts in general, history and heritage, cooking and tasting and drinking wine, travelling at home and abroad, good TV, the cinema, walking in both city and country and exploring unusual places.

I'm looking for someone who shares my outlook on life and interests to be a friend and lover and companion. Hope that's not too much to ask! It would be crazy to be too prescriptive at this time in our lives and I'm a pretty tolerant bloke who accepts that no-one reaches our sixties without carrying a fair amount of baggage - I'm sure I do too. Naturally you will be kind and loving and friendly and interested in the arts and if you love a glass of wine and sharing delicious food that would be great.
