About her
I spent 40 years as a lawyer working with non-profits and have been playing the cello for more than 50 years. Playing and listening to music is most important to me as is continually learning new things (not only about music) through reading, taking classes, and talking with people. I also volunteer for several organizations. I am a good listener and am empathic. Very good sense of humor. Since moving to CO 11 years ago, I have traveled widely around the state as well as NM and AZ. I have also visited many other places in the U.S. as well as Europe. I know that life is not just about intellect but the heart and senses also.

Finding someone for whom music, especially classical music, is an important part of his life is difficult! It's not my only criteria, but someone who enjoys going to concerts as well as listening at home would certainly increase our compatibility. I know that having someone who wants to know you and share the big and small things in life is so important; I want that in a partner, and I can be that for someone else. I believe that being able to talk, even if the topic may be uncomfortable, is essential to a good relationship. I also know that laughter is essential. Being interested in what is going on the U.S. and the world and wanting to continue to learn about new topics or to increase current knowledge is important. Deal breakers are few -- Trump-supporters, smokers, religious zealots, men who want to put up barriers to intimacy, and men who don't like dogs all make the list.
