About her
I’m a very happy person and I’d like to share that happiness with someone equally positive. I love to travel, I play bridge, I do Tai Chi outdoors all the year round, I love reading, walking and board games, I still do a bit of writing (I’m a retired academic), and have an inexhaustible curiosity about people and this rackety old world. I value tolerance, open-mindedness and, above all, kindness. I adore mountains, wild places and deserts but am equally at home sitting in a North London cafe and watching the world go by. I love movies: music is hugely important to me and I sing in a choir. I think the best way to get to know people is by talking face to face rather than endless messaging or screen time. I have four amazing adult children and six grandchildren, and of course they’re an important part of my life.
