About her
My friends would describe me as sociable; highly intelligent; sophisticated and fun. I enjoy art, making and going to see and I love to cook. I regularly eat out and have travelled extensively globally for work and pleasure, and done many cookery classes overseas. I love hosting and cooking for friends, and would like to for and with a partner. My home is important to me as are objects that remind me of a life well-lived and travelled.
I am energetic and pack in a lot every day. I make a point of finding balance in my life so no aspect dominates which I think I have now achieved. I value my work, my friends & family and cultural life. I am generally upbeat and content. I don't value over-work or striving simply for personal financial gain. My ambitions are more about impact and being an exemplar to others. I am courageous and outspoken and not deferential to authority if I disagree or perceive injustice in decision-making. I am opinionated though don't want to proselytise, and happy to hear differing views and expect it. Overall I value those that stick up for those under-represented and less well off, and I like to act as devil's advocate so people question their assumptions.
I am optimistic, positive, politically interested and enjoy debate. It is important for me to make a difference to others and I have a strong sense of civic duty and value community. I am lucky with a group of close inspirational friends that I see regularly.
Since lockdown I've taken up cycling which I love, and I cycle now every day and I realise how important exercise and getting outdoors is to me. I've also taken up pilates, though a novice beginner I love it. I volunteer regularly and am most interested in supporting environmental protection projects and refugees. Iceland is my favourite country and London my favourite city, and home in Ireland is always important in terms of my identity and who I am. I love being by the sea and in nature and also appreciate the cultural pursuits in cities, and London.

I would like to meet someone intellectual and witty, curious and with ambitions yet to achieve as I still have lots. Kindness and generosity are crucial. I'd love a supportive partner as I am an ambitious values-led woman.
