I am energetic, spirited and fun-loving. My friends think I have a great sense of humour and I’m good to be with. I really like to laugh. I’m loyal and honest, perhaps a bit shy at first. I play tennis regularly (3 times a week!). I love the arts. I read a lot and am a member of two book clubs. I have a dog so am out walking her every day. I think I’m an interesting person - I’m well connected in my village and I’ve been the Parish Clerk for many years but may be giving that up soon. I have lots of stories and anecdotes to tell. I’m well travelled but seeking another dimension to my life.
I have a busy life. Two grown up children and four grandchildren keep me busy, although they are at different ends of the country.
I have a house in a western France which I visit often and I attend a regular French class but never seem to get any better. By the next morning I’ve forgotten what I learnt the day before.

I’m not seeking another husband or even a partner, just somebody with whom I have some chemistry, to socialise and have fun. I’m always attracted to a clever man with a good sense of humour.
He would have to be taller than me and preferably kept himself in good shape. I like drinking and socialising so would like to share this. I’d like to be able to share visiting art galleries, concerts and the theatre. The outstanding quality I would look for in a companion would be kindness and a generous spirit.
The relationship would not work with a smoker or someone who was self-obsessed.
