About her
A widow in my late forties I was born in Bangladesh and came to England as a bride, age 19, in 1993.
I live in the leafy home town of Sir Edward Elgar. I married an Englishman, senior police officer and a cartoonist and we had a daughter, 27, I now lives in and works in London
I enjoy walking very much especially on the malvern hills, I can roll out of bed and straight up the glorious hills. In my spare time I like to make some tipsy jam and I have tasted all of them to check they are tipsy enough. It should be in the Highway Code- do not drive under the influence of Rumana jam.
I have totally embraced the Western way of life, its culture, its history, its customs and I feel privileged to have settled in our beautiful 'Sceptered Isle'.
I love classical music and am particularly fond of Worcestershire's own composer, Sir Edward Elgar.
I have a great interest in literature and am currently writing my first novel.
