About him
Empathetic, sympathetic and adventurous, enjoy travelling and have been fortunate enough to have travelled extensively in Europe, Asia and that includes India and Far East, Canada and America but not all the States obviously, cooking most cuisines and I do not typically follow a recipe unless its a new dish, my parents were both excellent cooks. More difficult to travel at the moment with a nervous rescue dog who cannot stay in kennels anymore, but she is 13.5 years old so in her twilight years and I want them to be good ones . Enjoy wine, maybe a bit too much and need to become a little more disciplined on that front. I am ethnically 100% chinese and came to the UK from the Trinidad, West Indies in 1964 with my family, so I have lived in the UK for 59 years, so I have lost my accent : )
Studied law, opened a clothing factory in East London with best friend, went onto retail in Bedfordshire and ended up a property consultant living in the centre of Cambridge specialising in properties in Central London, now retired and do not know how I found time to work before retirement. I also like to play Real Tennis(Henry Vlll style, not lawn), I have always played racket or bat sports since the age of 9 and still like the adrenalin rush although my body makes me pay for it if I try and play like a 20 year old, I can play golf and my handicap was 22 so not great. I obviously like classical music especially classical guitar, but also Fleetwood Mac, George Michael, Burt Bacharach, Carpenters, Earth Wind and Fire, so very eclectic. About his ideal match
Appreciative, a participant, motivated and not prejudice, likes dogs but DOES NOT OWN ONE, unfortunately my dog was kept kennelled for the first 2.5 years of her life and now is very difficult with other dogs, likes animals in general, likes wine, likes travelling and not a dreamer unless they achieve what they dream about. Looking for someone who likes to laugh, is intelligent but not necessarily have a super duper education as one does not always follow the other. Someone who is appreciative of what you do even though you may not have done it well, but appreciated that you have tried. Someone who is supportive and encourages. I would like to meet someone who is slimmish, I am not a 6 foot giant, more of a 5.8 and a half foot tall 32 inch waist, 40 inch chest type, I think slimmish would be a better physical match, I will probably live to regret that sentence : ( In a nutshell someone who lives on this planet with both feet firmly on the ground and not in the stars dreaming of a Kardashian lifestyle
