I'm passionate and compassionate, tender, loyal, curious, optimistic. Friends tell me I'm good company. They laugh at my jokes...and also at my cooking. Very physically fit, 5'6", 125 lbs. I love my work--practicing and teaching the art of fiction--and my offspring, and my friends, in nearly equal measure.
I'm an author and retired professor. Definitely a book nerd...hoping to meet same! My Myers-Briggs type is INFJ. I'm vaccinated and boostered.
Sometimes I'm adventurous: I went alone to the Soviet Union with my then three-year-old daughter, and lived and worked there for six months. We went in winter, like Napoleon.
Generally I'm truthful...except about my age, to people who haven't yet met me.
I moved 3000 miles to make a lifelong dream of living in California come true. Now every day brings new pleasures!
