Thanks for getting this far! :)
I'm a retired, sporty, musical, outdoor type, busying myself with a mix of voluntary activities that suit my interests (and are worthy and fulfilling and FUN).
When not active I enjoy cooking (my offer is considered 'eclectic but somehow it works') with a nice wine or carefully crafted gin. That's entertainment (Never know how it'll turn out - Slow food. Why limit comedy to the clubs?
I'm missing a bit of culture in my life - Most of my hairy a***d mates wouldn't know Les Mis from Les Dawson. I enjoy singing with a local choir (Lee Marvin? - i.e. Baritone but not very good!) and art galleries, museums, theatre and live music. Don't we all! And comedy. Lots of it.
I love travel too - I was fortunate to do lot through work including stints abroad in 3 very different locations. But usually with no time to explore. I think I speak French and German much better than I actually do. Now I'd like to travel more but with time to visit and experience the cultures properly mainly in wayside cafes and bars.
I have a couple of puppies who currently occupy a fair amount of my time and energies. But some other company would be really nice too. So Slow Travel - perhaps in my new toy - A folding camper trailer. When we can (and weather appeals!). Up and over to the beaches and hills of the UK for some fresh air, sand in the paws and country ales.
Finally my family is notorious for spontaneous, irrational and unprovoked bouts of hysterical laughter. One goes and we all go. Embarrassing really. Especially the tears!
