I'm not a fan of jelly of any sort! It's just not for me. On a more serious note, I suspect I don't like the things that a lot of people don't like...people who don't tell the truth or who are creative with it, those that tell what you should or shouldn't like/do/be, having wet feet or holes in my favourite jumper, damp, grey weather...oh and let's not forget inconsiderate drivers and inconsiderate people in general along with time wasters (life is, after all, rather short). Those are a few of the things that may generate a 'bleep' moment, possibly two.
Setting aside the bleep moments of life (jelly is definitely a two bleep moment by the way), I like a good sunset, a brilliant view, humour, kindness, honesty and people who don't take themselves or life too seriously, but somehow also manage to live life like it's a serious business, which obviously it is. I enjoy being around clever people, but that's not the same as saying they need a lot of letters after their name. I like both complexity and simplicity depending on the context. I'm interested in people and the lives they have led that make then who they are. Alongside that I like good food and wine and special people to share both with.
I enjoy films of all sorts, walks on the hills, spending time with important people in my life and bringing things into being, whether it's refurbishing a dilapidated house or building one from scratch (I've done both). In the old days I liked to travel either for pleasure or for work. I also like to stay up late talking and watching nonsense of the TV and lie in when time allows.
I'm optimistic and outgoing but have an introspective side that likes to understand what makes people who they are. I'm definitely a glass half person and have an adventurous spirit that believes that most things are possible.

I am looking for someone who shares a passion for a good sunset, likes talking, is open and honest about who they are and how they got to 'now'. I'm not interested in backgrounds but I am interested in journeys.
The things that would make the relationship work would be a shared interest in living a good life, things like work-life balance and enjoyment in simple things, as well as planning things together. There is no point being 'alone together' so I guess I am looking for someone who wants to be part of a dedicated team.
