I've been lucky enough to lead a life that has led me down many interesting roads in many places - but there is still a lot to explore! I am very fortunate to be living in a very beautiful part of the UK. I love travelling, history (especially archaeology), books, walks, music, art , animals and great conversation. My friends would describe me has having a dry sense of humour and a passion for the things I enjoy. With the right person, I am very affectionate and loving (but not needy!). Not much good at small talk (which I find a bit boring), I prefer an intimate dinner party with friends, than a big party. I always want to learn more and enjoy the company of intelligent, curious people who are compassionate and have a sense of humour. I am creative, independent, enjoy working and have worked abroad, which has given me a broad outlook on life and other cultures.

My ideal match is someone who is curious about life and the things around them - and has a sense of adventure that they want to share. The ideal relationship for me would be with someone who is independent, emotionally mature, intelligent, secure in themselves and tolerant towards others whose opinion may differ from theirs. We are all different and this is what makes life interesting. Someone who likes exploring new places, travelling, going on walks, is interested in art, culture and music.
