There's nothing I enjoy more than a good laugh and I don't take life too seriously but I think we shouldn't waste it and as it has so much to offer. I love walking alone or with family or friends and have been going to ballet classes for last 12 years having done it as a child. I also enjoy the arts and music, and try to go the opera and ballet and often visit galleries.I garden, but that's mostly out of necessity and I do find weeding very satisfying! Eating out can be a great treat too. I have mixed views about travelling recently but would love to visit Australia and the Middle East one day. I think there is so much to see here and hope to walk more in Scotland in the near future. I am retired GP narrowly missing the recent insanity but still working for the Judiciary part-time. What I would really love is to have some passion in my life- any sort...

I would like to meet someone with whom I felt at ease, someone who is wise but not too serious, funny but not flippant (or sarcastic) and who can be genuine and who is interested and honest, calm and kind. If he looked like George C that would be a bonus but there aren't enough of those to go round - I am realistic too! I would like to share the things I love but also try new experiences and talk about it all. I'm not a chatterbox so I'd like to meet someone who can talk and is happy to chat but not endlessly. He would need an imagination and have an open and enquiring mind. Most of all I would like to meet someone with whom I can be quiet.
