How can I describe myself? Like most people I probably have various facets to my personality. On the one hand I can be very extrovert but equally I enjoy time in front of a roaring fire reading a good book. I have an abiding love of history and archaeology. I love to travel and engage in new exciting activities and meet new people. I adore all animals especially dogs, country pubs and good food.

I am looking - initially - for friendship and companionship, somebody who would offer good conversation and who shares my interests and outlook on life. I can be very serious and do enjoy cultural pursuits but am told I have a good sense of humour. I would love to find someone who would enjoy visiting historical sites and buildings, trips to the theatre, rides out to the seaside. I have travelled widely and still have a few countries on my bucket list. I have a passion for animals and the natural world. A deal breaker for me would be someone who didn't like dogs and cats.
