My friends describe me as warm, friendly, social and opinionated. I like instrumental music from the Late Baroque through Romantic periods. I also enjoy jazz from Dixieland (not jazz? We can discuss that.) through Swing and Big Band.
I like to take walks in quiet natural surroundings. I enjoy observing birds and other wildlife. I prefer cooking simple food and sharing it.
I am very liberal in my politics. I like puns and clean comedy.
I have traveled several times to Austria to attend concerts of several favorite musical groups and artists based in that country. I hope to go again in the future.
I am trying to post a photo but the Classic FM people have very strict requirements on photo quality which I can't seem to meet. Grrr :-(

I would like to find someone who enjoys listening to Classical music and early jazz and discussing it. I like people who are steady, humble, patient and gently funny. I don't care for foul language, or criticism. It would be nice to meet someone who likes the way I think about life.
