About her
After a happy marriage I miss having someone to do nothing with as well as a loving companion to share activities and interests. I'm keen on literature, music and the arts; I love long country walks, holidays in interesting places (though I'm not a beach bunny), and going out to cinemas, theatres and concerts. I'm a keen cook, but I really enjoy eating out too. I'm not particularly interested in sport but am happy to watch the 6 nations (especially if someone can remind me of the rules).

I'd ideally like to find someone who shares my interests and who can express their feelings and ideas easily. I don't think the strong, silent type is for me! Sharing is much more important to me than looks. Going out together, enjoying good food and discovering new things would count a lot. Laughing at the same things would definitely be a major plus, so anyone who doesn't find Boris Johnson a joke (in every sense) probably wouldn't enjoy my company much. Lack of openness would be a deal breaker and I couldn't deal with anyone who would count the mouthfuls rather than simply split the bill would be essential too.
