About him
Friends have described me as warm, caring and supportive. I have a relaxed and tolerant approach to others but tend to drive myself hard and like to keep active myself - swimming, running, occasionally skiing and horse riding. I am a keen gardener and like to grow produce to cook and eat, as I enjoy cooking and entertaining family and friends. I like being out in the countryside, in the mountains or by the sea. I am not a great one for pubs but always happy to go out for a meal. I enjoy classical music and whilst I'll usually recognise a piece, I'm not very good on identifying the composer! I also enjoy theatre and ballet and am gradually acquiring a taste for opera - saw Aida in the Arena in Verona - spectacular. I have travelled quite a bit but there's plenty left on my bucket list and it would be great to find someone with whom I can share those journeys and life in general

Someone who has a relaxed approach to life and others yet likes to keep active and be healthy. Could be working, retired or semi retired. Someone who likes to travel both in this country and abroad and who would like to share her bucket list with me. An animal lover (I have two dogs) and who therefore likes walks in the countryside, mountains or by the sea. Someone who's really interesting to talk to but equally we could just snuggle on the sofa and 'be'. Very happy to share all sorts of activities but also think it's important we have our own time, activities and friends as well.
