I’m an active, caring, and chatty person who loves the outdoors, traveling and, meeting people from all walks of life. I walk, cycle, swim (pool and sea), do pilates, Bootcamp, and am just getting back into yoga.
I’m a left-handed, dyslexic who often thinks laterally and I like to look at life from different perspectives. I’m creative but also analytical. I love to understand how things work and am very inquisitive.
I’m definitely a people person. I find other people fascinating. I didn’t expect to be single at my age but here I am and I’m taking it as my second crack at life. New adventures, new outlook, push myself and appreciate every minute on this beautiful planet. At the moment I’m learning to Scuba Dive and can’t wait to get out and explore beneath the surface. I can ski but I'm a bit rusty and would love to find someone to ski with again. I’m trekking to Everest base camp in November which I think will be an experience of a lifetime. I’ve been to both Poles and done the Polar plunge. I’ve paddle boarded in the Artic 🥶
I love animals, I was brought up on a smallholding. I’ve always had dogs but atm I’ve just got my huge black rescue cat as I’m enjoying my freedom to roam!
I love cooking but hardly cook now as cooking for one is so dull 😰. I love listening to music, especially classical. I enjoy a glass of wine but also love hot chocolate or a flat white.
I’m happy in walking boots and a jacket when the occasion permits like to dress up. I’m well-spoken and able to adapt to all sorts of company.

I have 2 grown-up independent daughters and am a young-at-heart grandparent to 5 small grandsons (keeps me on my toes!).
