I think I am an introverted extrovert. I read a lot. I don’t spend my free time climbing mountains or wrestling wild bears and I am not looking for people who are, but I have done yoga for decades and I like an adventure.

Articulate and humorous conversations, books and bookshops, art galleries, secret gardens, a view, vintage maps in Oxfam, time with friends, time by myself, driving at night with the music on, Cerys Matthews on BBC 6 Music on Sunday mornings, good coffee and croissants, France 24 news online, psychology, borrowing a dog for a walk, bluebell woods in Spring, anything to do with history or France, legal dramas on TV, photography, trees, FIP radio, walking London, Bordeaux and Paris, old churches and architecture in general, good design, vintage motorbikes, yoga. Tenderness and care. Dogs. Flowers. Politics. Sunsets, big skies. Animals. European films. Old towns on a river. Wild food. The sea. Ideas. French rugby team. Dancing. Younger people, older people. People who do what they say. Riding horses, cooking, diy, walk some distance, chat, listen, empathise, problem solve, laugh, smile, looking at a starry sky. Bonfires and chocolate brownies.
Can be rather competitive at table tennis and card playing. Can swear in two languages, handy. Can get noisy when France wins the World Cup or the 6 Nations (see above).
