I’m not sure what to say…..but friends would be shocked and say I’m never lost for words! They would also probably tell you I am a good friend who cares and is loyal, that I have a very dry, typical English sense of humour that can be sarcastic at times! I love being with my friends. I don’t need lots of friends just a few very special ones. I think my biggest dislike is lying and deceit. I do not suffer fools gladly. I love spending time with my family and feel family time is very important
I love to travel though COVID has slowed that down these last couple of years. I like to visit and explore new places and meet new people. At home I love to cook, I enjoy a good wine, and of course listen to Classicfm! I am a volunteer at Houston Grand Opera as opera is a passion and I sing with a local chorus. I’ve been singing since grade school and my other love is community theatre.
I am a dog lover and for the first time in many years I am without a fur legged friend! I’m taking my time in finding the next perfect fur friend.
Now that travel is not such an issue I will be traveling to England again on a regular basis and look forward to being “home”.
I am not a couch potato and would love to meet someone who wants to be out and about. I love the water and have many sailing miles under my belt so I think there is still so much to do and explore. Are you up for that? I’d like to meet someone here or away and who doesn’t feel the miles are a barrier.

Aren’t we all looking for mr or ms right/perfect? Well, I am not. I am not perfect and I don’t expect that from my partner. I am however looking for honesty, loyalty, a keen sense of fun and humour and someone who can survive the odd bumps along the way. That’s what I’m giving too. Sharing activities is always fun and that doesn’t mean every activity. If you have an activity I’m not so attracted too, that’s fine. I’m not going to be velcroed to you and to make a relationship work for me I need a partner who is self sufficient. The biggest deal breaker would be lying or smoking. There is so much to be explored and to enjoy out there. I think doing it all with someone who has the same idea would be amazing.
