About her
I have plenty of hobbies, friends and interests but, as my headline suggests, I feel the time is right to explore meeting someone kind and thoughtful to share my next steps with. My family (three older teens) lies at the heart of everything I do but I also have time to gallivant by myself.
I've been trying to take up a new hobby each year since turning 50, including solving a Rubik's cube, crochet and bell-ringing.
I like cycling (for leisure) and choral singing. I shall be singing at the BBC Proms this summer.
At work, I'm the one who teaches all the songs for assemblies and productions. I adore my job and have worked at my current school since the last millennium.
My friends and family call me inspirational and optimistic. I'm happy about that.
