About him
I am a retired property professional who is looking to fulfil life’s expectations and share times and adventures with someone special. Friends have said that I make them smile , laugh and be happy, I am easy going , loving, and caring with strong principles, have kind eyes, enjoy all the good things in life, honest, dependable and present younger than my age. I place quality before quantity and take pride in my appearance with a contemporary dress sense. I am a romantic and am not averse to showing affection in public.
I have a loving family around me, 3 daughters (and partners) and 2 grandsons; they are all extremely important to me. I SUPaddleboard, cycle , group walk weekly, do the gym with my buddy, and getting my house and garden into better shape. I enjoy watching most sports ( member of a County Cricket Club) and films, reading, listening to music, visiting places and buildings of interest and am enjoying a positive and busy life in retirement. I undertake a volunteering role for an organisation dear to my heart for just a few hours a week . Prior to Covid I travelled quite extensively throughout the World , but there are still places on my bucket list; care to compare yours’ with mine?
I live on the edge of the Peak District yet within easy reach of Manchester , Sheffield and other regional centres.
I was widowed within a long and happy marriage, and am now at the stage where I wish to find happiness and contentment again.

It is likely I would empathise more with someone who has had similar life experiences to myself, but you never know. A regular smoker/ e-cigger would be a dealbreaker.
